When five friends decide to spend the weekend up at an isolated cabin, their good times are cut short after they find an old tape recorder in the cellar. By listening to the incantations on the recording, they unknowingly awaken ancient Kandarian evils from within the woods. One of the girls starts floating around and threatens every one with eternal damnation. One by one, the friends become possessed and inflict relentless evils upon each other, until only Bruce “Don’t Call Me Ash” Campbell is left to take control of the Kandarian scum. More frightening than the other two films in the series, the EVIL DEAD take itself seriously, which makes it seriously terrifying. One of the goriest and most creative independent horror films to come out of the States during the eighties, the EVIL DEAD still holds its own twenty years later.

We are proud to present a brand new 35mm print of EVIL DEAD, which has only been screened once in before in Canada. Consider yourselves lucky bastards to have the chance to spend Hell Night (or Mad Night in some circles) watching a midnight screening of EVIL DEAD.
